Private Joseph Leonard McIntyre

Born on 28 March 1899 in Glencoe, Ontario - son of John L. McIntyre, Glencoe, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Glencoe, Ontario; trade as farmer; single; no current or previous military service; Presbyterian; height of 5 feet 6 inches; fair complexion; blue eyes; dark brown hair.

Joined the 135th Battalion, CEF, in Glencoe, Ontario, on 19 February 1916 (number 803003) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 27 or 28 March 1918 - wounded on 10 August 1918 - invalided to England on 14 August 1918.
