Private Harold Frederick Sparling

Born on 1 December 1894 in London, England - son of Evelyn Sparling, Nottingham, England - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: trade as printer; single; no current or previous military service; Church of England; height of 5 feet 7.5 inches; chest of 37 inches fully expanded; dark complexion; brown eyes; auburn hair.

Joined the 63rd Battalion, CEF, in Edmonton, Alberta, on 22 September 1916 (number 467349) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 18 or 19 April 1917 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.
