Private George Ind

Born on 27 February 1883 in London, England - next of kin listed as George Ind, London, England - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as varnish maker, single, no current or previous military service, Church of England, height of 5 feet 2.5 inches, chest of 36 inches fully expanded, fair complexion, blue eyes, brown hair.

Joined the 126th Battalion, CEF, in Toronto, Ontario, on 14 December 1915 (number 775639) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 4 or 6 December 1916 - killed in action on 11 January 1917 - buried in Ecoivres Military Cemetery (grave IV.B.6), France.
