Private Frederick Jackson

Born on 6 November 1897 in Fredericksburg, Ontario - brother of Charles Jackson, Prescott, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: present address in Cardinal, Ontario; trade as farmer; single; no current or previous military service; Methodist; height of 5 feet 7 inches; chest of 34 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; gray eyes; light brown hair.

Joined the 156th Battalion, CEF, in Cardinal, Ontario, on 9 December 1915 (number 639238) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 24 May 1917 - wounded on 12 January 1918 - invalided to England on 26 January 1918.
