Private Byron Anderson Scanlon

Born on 13 September 1898 in Brantford, Ontario - son of Mrs. Frank Scanlon, Brantford, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: present address same as mother; trade as driver; single; no current military service; previously served with the cadets (four years); Baptist; height of 5 feet 5 inches; chest of 36.5 inches fully expanded; dark complexion; grey eyes; dark hair.

Joined the 125th Battalion, CEF, in Brantford, Ontario, on 17 December 1915 (number 772443) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 27 or 28 March 1918 - wounded on 29 or 30 September 1918 - invalided to England on 2 October 1918.
