Private Frederick Prince Bower

Born on 28 November 1876 in Blackfuacs, London, England - husband of Alice Bower, St. Thomas, Ontario - 1916 attestation form provides the following: present address in St. Thomas, Ontario, trade as cook, married with three children, no current or previous military service, Church of England, height of 5 feet 3 inches, chest of 34.5 inches fully expanded, fair complexion, blue eyes, light brown hair.

Joined the 91st Canadian Infantry Battalion in St. Thomas, Ontario, on 6 March 1916 (number 190058) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion in France on 20 or 21 August 1916 - attached to the Canadian Corps Comp.[?] Company on 27 August 1916 - transferred to the 7th Army Employment Company on 22 August 1917.
