Private Frederick William Harrison

Born on 4 July 1880 in London, England - husband of Maria Harrison, London, England - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as cook, married, currently a member of the 9th Battery, Canadian Field Artillery (five years), previously served with the 17th Leicester Regiment (six years), Church of England, height of 5 feet 9.5 inches, chest of 39 inches fully expanded, ruddy complexion, blue eyes, light brown hair.

Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 19 May 1915 (number 410642) - transferred to the 2nd Battalion, CEF, on 25 August 1915 - transferred to Headquarters, 8th Canadian Infantry Brigade, on 31 December 1916 - rejoined the 2nd Battalion on 3 April 1917 - transferred to the 5th Canadian Army Employment Company on 10 July 1917 - rejoined the 2nd Battalion on 1 July 1918.
