Private Clarence Earl Hamrick

Born on 29 January 1881 in Winnipeg, Manitoba - step-father of Miss Rose Lorraine Peterson, Minneapolis, Minnesota - at the time of his enlistment in 1918: trade as railway man, separate from his wife for five years, no current or previous military service, Church of Christ, height of 5 feet 5 inches, chest of 36.5 inches fully expanded, dark complexion, black eyes, black hair.

Joined the 1st Depot Battalion, Eastern Ontario Regiment, in Barriefield Camp, on 25 May 1918 (number 3060211) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 10 or 11 October 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.
