Joined No.2 Overseas Army Service Corps Training Depot, CEF, in Toronto, Ontario, on 2 December 1916 (number 513355) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 10 or 11 November 1917 - wounded on 12 August 1918 - struck off strength to the Canadian Labour Pool, CEF, on 11 October 1918.
