Private Arthur William Skelton

Born on 24 February 1881 in London, England - husband of Sarah Skelton, Brantford, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: present address same as wife; trade as chauffeur; married; no current military service; previously served with the Royal Engineers (two years), the Engineer Volunteers (four years), and the 38th Dufferin Rifles (four years).

Joined the 125th Battalion, CEF, in Brantford, Ontario, on 20 December 1915 (number 772462) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 8 or 9 April 1918 - wounded on 30 September 1918 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 21 October 1918 - invalided sick to England on 29 December 1918.
