Private Isaac Cooper

Born on 2 January 1881 in Huntingdon, England - husband of Ruby Estella Cooper, Kemptville, Ontario - son of Isaac Cooper, Huntingdon, England - at time of enlistment in 1915: trade as labourer, married, no current military service, previously served two years with 106th Winnipeg Light Infantry and attended 1914 camp of 56th Regiment, Church of England, height of 5 feet 3.25 inches, chest of 35 inches fully expanded, fair complexion, blue eyes, fair hair.

Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 30 April 1915 (number 410061) - served with the 38th Battalion during its period of garrison duty in Bermuda - landed in France with the 38th Battalion on 13 August 1916 - killed in action on 18 November 1916 - name listed on the Vimy Memorial, France.
