Private Harold Constable

Born on 23 February 1895 in London, England - son of W. and Florence Matilda Constable, Toronto, Ontario - at time of enlistment in 1915: present address in Rawdon Township, Ontario, trade as farmer, single, no current or previous military service, Presbyterian, height of 5 feet 9 inches, chest of 36.5 inches fully expanded, fair complexion, blue eyes, light brown hair.

Joined the 80th Battalion, CEF, in Belleville, Ontario, on 28 December 1915 (number 220460) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, in England on 11 July 1916 - landed in France with the 38th Battalion on 13 August 1916 - killed in action on 18 November 1916 - name listed on the Vimy Memorial, France.
