Private Thomas Henry Pearson

Born on 24 January 1897 in Goulburn Township, Ontario - son of Sidney Pearson, Oxford Mills, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address same as father; trade as farmer; single; currently a member of the 56th Battalion [Regiment] (four years); no previous military service; Methodist; height of 5 feet 11.5 inches; chest of 38.75 inches fully expanded; ruddy complexion; grey eyes; light brown hair.

Joined the 156th Battalion, CEF, in Iroquois, Ontario, on 23 March 1916 (number 639952) - transferred to the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 24 May 1917 - wounded on 28 June 1917 - invalided to England on 12 July 1917.
