Lieutenant Corydon Coulson Sheldon

Born on 31 January 1880 in Leamington, Ontario - son of Solomon J. Sheldon, Leamington, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address at the YMCA, Ottawa, Ontario; trade as civil servant; Methodist; currently a member of the 43rd Regiment, Duke of Cornwall's Own Rifles; no previous military service.

Joined the 207th Battalion, CEF, as a lieutenant in Ottawa, Ontario, on 6 April 1916 - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 23 November 1917 - invalided injured to England on 22 June 1918 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 30 December 1918 - invalided sick to England on 20 January 1919.
