Warrant Officer Class II Edward Pritchard

Born on 15 January 1878 in Gloucestershire, England - next of kin listed as Alice Pritchard, Caledonia, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as miner; married; no current military service; previously served with the Grenadier Guards (twelve years); Church of England; height of 5 feet 10.6 inches; chest of 41.5 inches fully expanded; dark complexion; grey eyes; brown hair.

Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Montreal, Quebec, on 6 April 1915 (number 411138) - transferred to Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, CEF, on 16 July 1915 - wounded on 17 or 18 April 1916.
