Born on 13 February 1894 in Wilno, Ontario - son of August Prince, Wilno, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Wilno, Ontario; trade as labourer; single; no current or previous military service; Roman Catholic; height of 5 feet 8 inches; chest of 37 inches fully expanded; weight of 157 pounds; ruddy complexion; blue eyes; fair hair.

Joined the 240th Battalion, CEF, in Renfrew, Ontario, on 6 November 1916 (number 1042310) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 18 or 19 January 1918 - wounded on 29 September 1918 - invalided to England on 10 October 1918.

Died on 11 July 1920 - buried in Wilno St. Stanislaus Pioneer Cemetery, Wilno, Ontario.
