Private William A. O'Neil

Born on 24 October 1893 in Ottawa, Ontario - son of Mrs. Charles O'Neil, Ottawa, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address same as mother; trade as printer; no current or previous military service; Roman Catholic; height of 5 feet 7.25 inches; chest of 36.5 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; blue eyes; light brown hair.

Joined the Canadian Army Veterinary Corps, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 25 February 1916 (number 310885) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 5 or 6 July 1917 - invalided sick to England on 25 March 1918.
