Lieutenant Ernest Miles

Born on 25 July 1889 in Toronto, Ontario - husband of Florence Jean Miles, Toronto, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Toronto, Ontario; trade as accountant; Church of England; currently a member of the 109th Regiment; no previous military service.

Joined the 237th Battalion, CEF, as a Lieutenant in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on 25 May 1916 - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 6 March 1917 - wounded on 19 September 1917 - invalided to England on 3 October 1917.
