Private Thomas Francis Lynch

Born on 26 February 1900 (enlisted with birth date of 22 June 1895) - son of Anne Lynch, Toronto, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as peddler; single; no current or previous military service; Roman Catholic; height of 5 feet 4.5 inches; chest of 33 inches fully expanded; medium complexion; grey eyes; auburn hair.

Joined the 80th Battalion, CEF, in Smiths Falls, Ontario, on 22 July 1915 (number 144637) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, in England on 1 August 1916 - landed in France with the 38th Battalion on 13 August 1916 - struck off strength to England as a "minor" on 19 January 1917.
