Lieutenant Gilbert Earle Logan

Born on 8 August 1886 in Saint John, New Brunswick - husband of Emma Zela Logan, Saint John, New Brunswick - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address same as wife; trade as barrister-at-law, solicitor, etc.; Church of England; currently a member of the 62nd Regiment; previously served on the staff of Officer Commanding New Brunswick Command.

Joined the 237th Battalion, CEF, in Saint John, New Brunswick, as a Captain and battalion adjutant on 16 September 1916 - transferred to the 7th Reserve Battalion, CEF - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, as a Lieutenant on 20 September 1917 - wounded on 14 November 1917 - invalided to England on 22 November 1917.
