Private Albert Leclerc

Born on 20 June 1889 in Ottawa, Ontario - son of Adolphe Leclerc, Ottawa, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1918: present address same as father; single; Roman Catholic; trade as assistant manager of wholesale furnishings and clothing; no current or previous military service; height of 5 feet 3.5 inches; chest of 32 inches fully expanded; weight of 121 pounds; medium complexion; blue eyes; fair hair.

Conscripted into the 1st Depot Battalion, Eastern Ontario Regiment, CEF, in Kingston, Ontario, on 16 February 1918 (number 3056709) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 12 or 13 September 1918 - wounded on 30 September or 1 October 1918 - invalided to England on 12 October 1918.
