Lance-Corporal Henry Leonard Lepot

Born on 2 September 1890 in Ottawa, Ontario - brother of Louise Lepot, Cummings Bridge, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as electrical inspector; single; no current military service; previously served with the Governor General's Foot Guards (three years); Baptist; height of 5 feet 11.5 inches; chest of 37 inches fully expanded; clear complexion; blue eyes; light brown hair.

Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 15 or 16 February 1915 (number 410348) - struck off strength in order to be commissioned on 5 December 1917 - later commissioned as a lieutenant and served with the 10th Reserve Battalion, CEF.
