Private James Chrysler Kilgour

Born on 20 October 1893 in Hamilton, Ontario - son of Minnie M. and the late James Coutts Kilgour, Drumbo, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Drumbo, Ontario; trade as railroad towerman; single; currently a member of the 38th Regiment Dufferin Rifles; no previous military service; Presbyterian; height of 5 feet 11.5 inches; chest of 34 inches fully expanded; light complexion; grey eyes; light hair.

Joined the 215th Battalion, CEF, in Burford, Ontario, on 26 May 1916 (number 270504) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 27 or 28 March 1918 - died on 2 September 1918 of wounds received that day - buried in Aubigny Communal Cemetery Extension (grave IV.E.28), France.
