Private William Henry Hough

Born on 4 August 1889 in Blenheim, Ontario - son of John H. Hough, Princeton, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address same as father, trade as farmer, single, currently a member of the 38th Dufferin Rifles, previously served with the 25th Brant Dragoons, Methodist, height of 5 feet 7 inches, chest of 37 inches fully expanded, ruddy complexion, grey eyes, dark hair.

Joined the 215th Battalion, CEF, in Brantford, Ontario, on 26 May 1916 (number 270290) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 8 or 9 April 1918 - captured and made a prisoner of war on 10 August 1918 - repatriated on 16 January 1919.
