Lieutenant William Harold Rose

Born on 3 November 1895 in Williamsburg, Ontario - next of kin listed as Mrs. E.E. Rose, Elma, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as medical student; single; no current or previous military service; Wesleyan; height of 5 feet 7.5 inches; chest of 36.5 inches fully expanded; medium complexion; blue eyes; light brown hair.

Joined No.3 General Hospital, CEF, in Montreal, Quebec, on 23 February 1915 (number 440) - invalided sick to England on 18 October 1916 - commissioned and promoted to lieutenant with the 7th Reserve Battalion, CEF, on 1 July 1917 - transferred to the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 21 July 1917 - sent to England for RTC[?] on 2 August 1918.
