Lieutenant Raymond H. Parker

Born on 26 November 1883 in Norwich, Norfolk, England - husband of Harriett E. Parker, Brantford, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as woodworker; married; currently a member of the 38th Dufferin Rifles; previously served with the 1st Volunteer Battalion, 1st Norfolk Regiment (seven years); Church of England; chest of 38.5 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; brown eyes; brown hair.

Joined the 36th Battalion, CEF, in Hamilton, Ontario, on 19 April 1915 (number 406009) - commissioned as a lieutenant on 21 August 1916 - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, as a lieutenant on 21 September 1916 - killed in action on 18 November 1916 - buried in Bapaume Post Military Cemetery (grave I.I.6), France.
