Private Louis Lalonde

Born on 21 December 1895 in Gananoque, Ontario - son of Annie Lalonde, Gananoque, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Gananoque, Ontario; trade as amateur vaudeville show; single; no current or previous military service; willing to serve with CEF as a stretcher bearer; Roman Catholic; height of 5 feet 6 inches; fair complexion; brown eyes; dark hair.

Joined the 156th Battalion, CEF, in Barriefield Camp, Ontario, on 28 July 1916 (number 640192) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 24 May 1917 - wounded (at duty) on 12 or 13 April 1918 - wounded on 6 August 1918 - invalided to England on 9 August 1918.

Died on 1 February 1927.
