Private Harold Knudson

Born on 10 April 1893 in Cardinal, Ontario - son of C. Knudson, Cardinal, Ontario - at the time of his conscription in 1918: present address in Cardinal, Ontario; single; Presbyterian; trade as painter; no current military service; previously served with the 4th Hussars (one year); height of 5 feet 8 inches; chest of 36 inches fully expanded; light complexion; blue eyes; brown hair.

Conscripted into the 2nd Depot Battalion, Eastern Ontario Regiment, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 25 January 1918 (number 3320493) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 17 or 18 August 1918 - wounded on 1 October 1918 - invalided to England on 9 October 1918.
