Private George Labelle

Born on 27 May 1883 in Carlsbad Springs, Ontario - son of Mrs. A. Labelle, Carlsbad Springs, Ontario - at the time of his conscription in 1918: present address in Carlsbad Springs, Ontario; single; Roman Catholic; trade as labourer; no current or previous military service; height of 5 feet 5 inches; chest of 38.5 inches fully expanded; swarthy complexion; hazel eyes; black hair.

Conscripted into the 2nd Depot Battalion, Eastern Ontario Regiment, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 15 April 1918 (number 4025132) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 10 or 11 October 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.
