Private Albert Hufton

Born on 28 January 1884 in Yorkshire, England - son of Robert Hufton, Leeds, Yorkshire, England - at the time of his conscription in 1918: present address in Ottawa, Ontario, single, Church of England, trade as foreman in Ottawa Construction Company, no current or previous military service, height of 5 feet 6.75 inches, chest of 39 inches fully expanded, dark complexion, grey eyes, black hair.

Conscripted into the 1st Depot Battalion, Eastern Ontario Regiment, CEF, in Kingston, Ontario, on 14 January 1918 (number 3056195) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 10 or 11 October 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.

Died on 28 August 1952, aged 68 - buried in Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa, Ontario.
