Sergeant Frank Willis White

Born on 4 July 1879 in Northampton, Massachusetts - brother of Mrs. A.L. Labier, Bridgeport, Vermont - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Montreal, Quebec; trade as labourer; single; no current or previous military service; Presbyterian; height of 5 feet 9 inches; chest of 41 inches fully expanded; weight of 200 pounds; clear complexion; blue eyes; brown hair.

Joined the 240th Battalion, CEF, in Renfrew, Ontario, on 12 December 1916 (number 1042545) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 11 or 12 July 1917 - wounded on 28 September 1918 - invalided to England on 29 September 1918.
