Joined the 77th Canadian Infantry Battalion in Ottawa, Ontario, on 1 December 1915 (number 145688) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion in England on 6 July 1916 - landed in France with the battalion on 13 August 1916 - killed in action on 18 November 1916 - name listed on the Vimy Memorial, France.
