Private James Earl Roadhouse

Born on 17 November 1893 in Kirkton, Ontario - son of William T. and D.E. Roadhouse, Kirkton, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Kirkton, Ontario; trade as farmer; single; no current or previous military service; Methodist; height of 5 feet 9.5 inches; chest of 37.5 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; blue eyes; light brown hair.

Joined the 110th Battalion, CEF, in Kirkton, Ontario, on 2 March 1916 (number 727649) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 26 or 27 June 1917 - killed in action on 10 August 1918 - name inscribed on the Vimy Memorial, France.
