Joined the Canadian Army Medical Corps in Cornwall, Ontario, on 22 May 1917 (number 2098897) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 14 or 15 February 1918 - wounded on 3 or 4 September 1918 - invalided to England on 6 September 1918.
