Corporal Herbert Suffron

Born on 5 November 1877 in Newbliss, Ontario - husband of Louisa Suffron, Ottawa, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as carpenter; married; no current military service; previously served with the Governor General's Foot Guards (ten years); Wesleyan; height of 5 feet 11.5 inches; chest of 38 inches fully expanded; clear complexion; blue eyes; dark brown hair.

Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 9 February 1915 (number 410411) - transferred to the 2nd Battalion, CEF, on 25 August 1915.
