Private William Roberts

Born on 30 December 1897 in Lanark, Ontario - son of W. Roberts, Lanark, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as farmer; single; no current or previous military service; Presbyterian; height of 5 feet 7 inches; chest of 35.5 inches fully expanded; weight of 145 pounds; fair complexion; grey eyes; black hair.

Joined the 130th Battalion, CEF, in Perth, Ontario, on 11 December 1915 (number 787066) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 14 or 15 November 1916 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.
