Private Wilfred Pettitt

Joined the 87th Battalion, CEF, on 9 December 1915 (number 178098) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, in England on 14 July 1916 - landed in France with the 38th Battalion on 13 August 1916 - wounded on 6 January 1917 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 24 January 1917 - struck off strength to the 12th Canadian Light Trench Mortar Battery, CEF, on 1 October 1917 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 12 November 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on16 June 1919.
