Private Albert Russell Peters

Born on 27 April 1893 in Hastings, Ontario - brother of Ezra Peters, Hastings, Ontario - at the time of his conscription in 1918: present address in Hastings, Ontario; single; Church of England; trade as lineman; no current or previous military service; height of 5 feet 7 inches; chest of 37 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; blue eyes; light hair.

Conscripted into the 1st Depot Battalion, Eastern Ontario Regiment, CEF, in Kingston, Ontario, on 12 February 1918 (number 3056673) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 18 August 1918 - killed in action on 29 September 1918 - buried in Bourlon Wood Cemetery (grave II.C.3), France.
