Lance-Corporal James Edgar Lennie

Born on 7 August 1898 (listed as 1897 on enlistment form) in Windsor, Ontario - son of Mrs. C.E. Lennie, Lindsay, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as automobile repairer; single; no current or previous military service; Presbyterian; height of 5 feet 5 inches; chest of 34 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; dark blue eyes; dark brown hair.

Joined the 109th Battalion, CEF, in Lindsay, Ontario, on 25 November 1915 (number 724583) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 4 or 6 December 1916 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 13 January 1919.
