Private John Pearson

Born on 9 August 1897 in Lindsay, Ontario - son of John Pearson, Haliburton, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as laborer; single; no current or previous military service; Methodist; height of 5 feet 5.75 inches; chest of 35.5 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; blue eyes; dark brown hair.

Joined the 109th Battalion, CEF, in Lindsay, Ontario, on 2 September 1915 (number 724257) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 4 or 6 December 1916 - wounded on 17 March 1918 - invalided to England on 30 March 1918.
