Private William Thomas McFerran

Born on 5 April 1889 in Belfast, Ireland - son of James McFerran, Belfast, Ireland - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as student; single; no current or previous military service; Presbyterian; height of 5 feet 8 inches; chest of 35.75 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; blue eyes; medium hair.

Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, on 16 March 1915 (number 411081) - transferred to Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry on 16 July 1915.
