Born on 22 March 1896 in Petawawa, Ontario - husband of Mabel Marrier (formerly Kittega), Toronto, Ontario - brother of Mrs. Fred Baillargeon, Fort Coulonge, Quebec - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Schineboro, Quebec; trade as teamster; single; currently a member of the 42nd Lanark and Refrew Regiment (two months); no previous military service; Roman Catholic; height of 5 feet 6.25 inches; chest of 36 inches fully expanded; dark complexion; brown eyes; dark brown hair.

Joined the 207th Battalion, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 12 May 1916 (number 246269) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 11 or 12 April 1918 - wounded on 27 or 28 September 1918 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 9 December 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919 [yet died on military service] - died [of what] on 30 January 1921 - buried in Burlington (Hope Sepulchre) Cemetery (grave Sec. G.1.40), Ontario.
