Private Maurice Llewellin Joslin

Born on 8 August 1893 in London, England - son of William Joslin, Hallgarth, Saskatchewan - at the time of his conscription in 1918: present address in Hallgarth, Saskatchewan; single; Presbyterian; trade as farmer; no current military service; previously served with the Manitoba Rangers (one year); height of 5 feet 5 inches; chest of 35 inches fully expanded; ruddy complexion; blue eyes; brown hair.

Conscripted into the 1st Depot Battalion, Saskatchewan Regiment, CEF, in Regina, Saskatchewan, on 15 January 1918 (number 257178) - taken on the strength of the 28th Battalion, CEF, on 6 September 1918 - transferred to the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 21 or 22 September 1918 - wounded on 30 September 1918 - invalided to England on 6 October 1918.
