Private Albert Thomas Kelly

Born on 3 November 1897 in Hull, Quebec - next of kin listed as Albert Kelly, Hull, Quebec - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as clerk; single; no current or previous military service; Church of England; height of 5 feet 5 inches; weight of 135 pounds; chest of 35 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; blue eyes; light brown hair.

Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Barriefield, Ontario, on 28 May 1915 (number 410516) - served with the 38th Battalion during the period of its garrison duty in Bermuda - landed in France with the 38th Battalion on 13 August 1916 - wounded on 18 November 1916 and died of those wounds on 20 November 1916 - buried in Contay British Cemetery (grave VIII.F.29), France.
