Joined the 130th Battalion, CEF, on 10 December 1915 - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, as a Lieutenant on 10 April 1918 - wounded on 29 September 1918 - invalided sick to England on 15 November 1918 - died of his sickness on 31 July 1920 - buried in Ottawa (Beechwood) Cemetery (sec. 19 south-east part 154), Canada.
