Private Ernest Clifford Higgins

Born on 26 January 1894 in Brockville, Ontario - brother of Harold Henry Higgins, Regina, Saskatchewan - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as chauffeur, single, no current military service, previously served with the 56th Regiment (one year), Church of England, height of 5 feet 5 inches, chest of 33.5 inches fully expanded, fresh complexion, grey-blue eyes, light brown hair.

Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Brockville, Ontario, on 2 March 1915 (number 410694) - transferred to the 2nd Battalion, CEF - taken on the strength of the Canadian Army Medical Corps on 9 April 1917 - wounded on 27 October 1917.

He died on 12 May 1969.
