Lieutenant Frank Eugene Hinds

Born on 28 December 1879 in Stillwater, Minnesota - husband of Ida Hinds, Blairmore, Alberta - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Toronto, Ontario, trade as telegraph operator, Presbyterian, currently a member of the 13th Royal Regiment, previously served with Company K, 13th Minnesota United States Volunteer Infantry, Philippines 13th Mounted Rifles, Divisional Signallers in Ottawa,

Joined the 97th Battalion, CEF, in Toronto, Ontario, on 19 February 1916 - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, as a Lieutenant on 6 March 1917 - wounded on 9 April 1917 - died of those wounds on 12 April 1917 - buried in Wimereux Communal Cemetery (grave III.E.1), France.
