Acting-Corporal (Private) John Hetherington

Born on 15 February 1895 in Napanee, Ontario - next of kin listed as Mrs. R. Hetherington, Kingston, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as student, single, no current military service, previously served with cadet corps, Church of England, height of 5 feet 10 inches, chest of 33 inches fully expanded, fair complexion, blue eyes, light hair.

Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Montreal, Quebec, on 7 April 1915 (number 411131) - transferred to Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, CEF - wounded on 2 or 3 June 1916.
