Private Frank Leonard Harris

Born on 22 November 1882 in North Carolina - brother of John Harris, Newport, Tennessee - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: present address in North Carolina, trade as soldier, no current military service, previously served with the United States Coast Artillery (nine years), Methodist, height of 5 feet 11 inches, chest of 36 inches fully expanded, fair complexion, blue eyes, brown (turning grey) hair.

Joined the 97th Battalion, CEF, in Lethbridge, Alberta, on 27 October 1915 (number 160928) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 18 or 19 April 1917 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.
