Private Claude Norman Harris

Born on 29 August 1899 in Whites Station, Ontario - son of Mrs. Eva Harris, Whites Station, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in St. Thomas, Ontario trade as farming, single, no current or previous military service, Church of England, height of 5 feet 3.75 inches, chest of 32.5 inches fully expanded, dark complexion, grey eyes, dark brown hair.

Joined the 91st Battalion, CEF, in St. Thomas, Ontario, on 3 April 1916 (number 190201) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 20 or 21 August 1916 - invalided sick to England on 22 September 1916.
